Who We Are

We are a comprehensive team of Christians launching a "Stakeholder Strategy" in Aftercare Ministry.

Our Vision

Our vision is to have the Stakeholder Groups learn to work as a unified team to help reduce crime in North Carolina and to help salvage human capital by helping criminals become post-crime achievers.

Types Of Activity

Educating and training the non-incarcerated stakeholder groups. Assessing incarcerated stakeholders, as well as those in community corrections programs in the Research Triangle area--Durham, Raleigh and Chapel Hill, NC.

Location

Our loving care prisons are: Polk Correctional Center for Youth and the Low Security Federal Facility, both in Butner; Guess Road Minimum Custody prison in Durham; Wake Correctional Center for Women in Raleigh. Our loving care Community Corrections Program is the Criminal Justice Partnership Program facility in downtown Durham. With these individuals, we want to teach and train them how to successfully make the arduous trek from crime to contribution.

Our magazine (newsletter)

Not long ago we applied for a grant to underwrite the cost of researching and writing the first in a series of Stakeholder training manuals for this ministry strategy.

About Our Prison Ministry

God's vision to us is work on a continuum of change that includes "removing barriers," such as insufficient and inadequate housing; and an insufficiency of career-focused employment opportunities. We also work to help those being called out of this lifestyle to remove the "grave clothes" of "stinking thinking" and inappropriate behavior.

Support In

Pray with us for sufficient laborers for this comprehensive ministry in the Western NC. Conference of the AME Church (84 congregations), throughout the Second Episcopal District (NC, VA,DC and MD), and even the entire AME Connectional Church. May God richly bless His work through us!
