Who We Are

The Correctional Service of Canada (CSC) provides chaplaincy services to offenders and staff, both in penitentiaries and in the community. We contract out these services with Canada’s faith communities, predominately the Roman Catholic, Protestant, Jewish, Muslim, Sikh, and Buddhist faiths.

Our Vision

Our chaplains are employees of these faith communities and not employees of CSC. This is an important distinction for someone seeking a chaplain’s impartial services. This section will keep you up to date on federal chaplaincy services in Canada.
