Alpha Prison Ministries is a Christian ministry to prisoners and former inmates. Our purpose is to evangelize and disciple men who happen to be prisoners and former inmates. This purpose is accomplished by weekly Bible studies led by trained volunteers in seven southwest Michigan prisons, transitional housing for former inmates in the Grand Rapids area and follow-on mentoring services.Ministry help request

We ask God to Bless this ministry and all other ministries on this site, it truly belongs to him. We will be obedient to his voice and go where he sends us. The harvest is ripe but the workers are few. We pray for workers and financial provision to help us meet the needs of those who need us. Any donation is a gift from God and for HIS glory. Last year, our paths crossed at work. Jim knew I was a Christian and started asking questions about God and the purpose of life. We would talk for hours and I gave him a Bible and the Purpose Driven Life book.
