Azalea City Prison Ministry

We are the Azalea City Prison Ministry. We have approximately 45 workers and all of us are volunteers, no salaries are paid by the ministry! We serve over 34 prisons, 3 youth detention centers and five jails in Georgia and Florida. The ministry began in 1979 and was incorporated in 1985. The Refuge of Hope was opened in November 2003. We can house 19 residents .

2 Corinthians 5:17 - Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new crearture: the old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

Who We Are

We are the Azalea City Prison Ministry. We have approximately 45 workers and all of us are volunteers, no salaries are paid by the ministry! We serve over 34 prisons, 3 youth detention centers and five jails in Georgia and Florida. The ministry began in 1979 and was incorporated in 1985.

Our Vision

We hope to expand the number of institutions that we minister in continuing to show the love of Jesus Christ. We have opened a facility to house men exiting prison and assist them in their efforts to reclaim their lives through Christ. We have 45 acres of land and have built the first dorm. We now have residents in the 4280 sq. foot building. This part of the ministry is called "The Refuge of Hope". We have finished our 8800 sq. ft. ministry building and we have started our second dorm .

Types Of Activity

Church services, special revivals, Bible studies, etc. Housing and spiritual guidance for inmates who have been paroled but have no place to go.
We now have services every Sunday evening at 6:00

About Our Prison Ministry

We provided Christmas gifts for over 50,000 inmates during Christmas 2010. They consisted of toiletry items, drinks cookies, candy, Christmas cards & literature.

Support In

Bibles, books, tracks, toiletry products, musical instruments for the prisons. For the refuge we will need tremendous financial support and construction materials and labor to renovate the facility. Pray for our workers, we are all volunteers .
