Promised Land Prison Ministires

Our ministry was established in 1998 when Jon Simone was facing 315 years in Federal Prison. A prophecy was given stating that He would not spend a long time in prison and God had a new wife selected who would help him learn the Word of God and would wait for him. Rev. Jon Simone is a Ordained Southern Baptist Minister. Jami Simone is a Prison Minister and performs Equine Therapy for Juveniles

Rev Simone is Pastor of Prison Ministries at First Baptist North Spartanburg.

Ministry help request

Fiji Prison Ministry

1. Pray for volunteers and wisdom in their activity in Fiji prisons.

2. Pray for new inmate visitation. As part of the prison allocation process, all new inmates in Fiji now receive an induction to Chaplaincy Services. This is a real answer to prayer. The next step is to make Pacific Youth Correctional Ministries (PYCM) materials available for all new prisoners (this helps a prisoner evaluate what has brought them to the point of incarceration and where they go from there).

Prayer Request of the Hour

I served as chaplain in the Fremont Correctional Facility. In Colorado, the Chaplains are unpaid volunteers and must live as missionaries. I miss my guys and being in my place. Pray that the men of Fremont will be ministered to. I do not know where God will lead but I know that He is in control. I ask for your prayers for the future. I have always had a special heart for after care. The need is so geat for those being released.
