The Office of Correctional Ministries, Catholic Diocese of Galveston / Houston provides services to 26 Texas prison units, 10 county jails and 1 Federal unit. Much of our time is spent on building a facility to house men or women who have been released from incarceration. We are searching for property in the Houston area on which to build a home for seven men.Ministry help request

Add your prayer requestPlease pray for my fiance James Griffin. He is currently in a detention center in Missouri. He has been there since March and will hopefully be released on August 23, 2005. This is his third jail sentence and I pray his last time. He is struggling with all the thngs that are going on on the "outside" without him. I pray for him to find peace in this last month and a half, and that he knows how much he is loved!!!
