We are the Azalea City Prison Ministry. We have approximately 45 workers and all of us are volunteers, no salaries are paid by the ministry! We serve over 34 prisons, 3 youth detention centers and five jails in Georgia and Florida. The ministry began in 1979 and was incorporated in 1985. The Refuge of Hope was opened in November 2003. Add your prayer requestMy son Michael Ybarra is 18 years old. He will be sentenced to 29 years in prison on April 25, 2005. I'm not sure which prison he will be going to yet but I would like prayer for him to be placed in a prison that will help him spiritually. He is very scared right now not knowing what to expect.
