Shelter is 25 years old.It was started by a group of young people in 1981 and the ministry grew and every month about 500 children are being helped through the residential centers, single mothers support group, young prisoners ministry, refugee work and the teen drop in center. Shelter works with local churches, nongovernmental organizations and the Malaysian Government.

Pray for older prison inmates, many of them are in wheelchairs, have cancer, some are so feeble that need help to get to a table where a relative awaits for visit, the forgotten ones. Pray they pass the law "control release" which will free many.
