Dixon Correctional Prison Ministry

We have a small but dedicated Seventh-day Adventist prison ministry operating out of the Dixon Correctional Center in Dixon, Illinois. We have a Thursday afternoon Bible Study and a Sabbath (Saturday) afternoon church service. Occasionally we have a prison wide concert.

-Build a rehabilitaton (after care) center for ex-prisoners;
-Assist in intiating computer, tailorig, dressmaking, carpentry projects and training for the ex-prisoners;
-Train volunteers in evangelism field;
-Donate Bibles and other christians literatures amd materials.

Prayer Request of the Hour

I ask for prayer for my nephew Vincent Thomas, who is currently at West Tennessee State Penitentiary on murder charges charges. Have already served 30 yrs. and is feeling he will never get out of there.
