The Heartland Church Prison Ministry is a new ministry started in July 2014 by two friends, who experienced prison first hand, watching their adult children join the prison population. The passion developed in this ministry is heartfelt by all who volunteer, as we are each called to love those in and outside the walls of prison. Freedom Through Christ Prison Ministry
Pen pals are especially needed to write to the thousands of lonely prisoners who contact our program. We also seek people to help with publicity. Details can be provided if anyone is interested. Also clerical help if someone lives near either of our locations. At Christmas time we ask for individuals or groups to send Christmas cards to prisoners.Prayer Request of the Hour
