Leaving The Cocoon
In 2007, Leaving The Cocoon became the official women's mentoring program for the Tennessee Department of Correction. According to the Director of TDOC Volunteer Services, LTC is a “pioneer in reentry mentoring.” Leaving The Cocoon's mission has been to show Christ-like compassion to the needs of the incarcerated and help them rebuild their lives outside prison. With this in mind, LTC is helping the newly released “butterfly” to reach their God-given potential.Ministry help request
New Beginnings
New Beginnings Prison & Outreach Ministry is non-profit program of Calvary Temple Church. We are in need of not only financial support, but also donations of food, bedding, kitchen supplies and equipment, and children's program materials. We would really like to expand the current children's area with educational/counseling-type curriculum that will assist in their reunification with their mothers. She has been under this curse 70 years. We have been praying for them both in out congregation as well as in other congregations but until now those evil bonds have not yet been broken.
