Sojourner Orthodox Fellowship prison ministry is a non-geographical fellowship ministry. We have prisoners all across the U.S. The main goal of our ministry is spiritual encouragement and showing those living in spiritual darkness how to have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. We teach prisoners how to turn their prison cell into a prayer cell. We minister to those who are Orthodox, seeking the Orthodox faith and those of no denomination who are looking for a deeper spiritual life.Ministry help request

Our needs are Prayer, Financial Support and Volunteers in all area's. If you have a love for people or need to be needed yourself we pray you will volunteer. There are many opportunities for volunteers without having to preach or go inside of a prison. Our Adopt an Inmate/ Encourager program needs writers (Pen Pals) Kingsway has a safe non-threatening way for you to be involved. Add your prayer requestI served as chaplain in the Fremont Correctional Facility. In Colorado, the Chaplains are unpaid volunteers and must live as missionaries. I miss my guys and being in my place. Pray that the men of Fremont will be ministered to. I do not know where God will lead but I know that He is in control. I ask for your prayers for the future. I have always had a special heart for after care. The need is so geat for those being released.
