L5:17 is a church prison ministry that seeks to bring disenfranchised inmates and their families into the healing presence and community of Jesus Christ. Our starting point is a bi-weekly Bible study in the heart of Winnipeg at the Remand Centre. We follow up with one-on-one's and use a network of chaplains, ministries (Teen Challenge, Forward House, Bridging the Gap), and churches to guide the inmates to the next healing environment. Add your prayer requestPlease pray for my son, Nicholas, that he may be safe during his time in prison. Please pray that he is learning from this experience and that he now knows that he must follow God and not the easy/bad influences. Please ask the Lord to help Nick know that he is loved but must take some responsibility for his life. Help Nick to listen and hear the words of encouragement and good advice and to ignore those who would lead him astray. Thank you for your prayers!
