Foreign Prisoners Fellowship

Founded in 1985 by Gary Harris and Ronald, both foreign ex-prisoners of "Lurigancho" prison in Lima, Peru; Foreign Prisoners Fellowship - FPF ministers to inmates who are imprisoned not in their home countries. Local groups of volunteers visit, correspond or care for foreign prisoners, ex-inmates or their families worldwide. A special emphasis is on ministry to drug traffickers.

"He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to release the oppressed." (Luke 4:18)

Who We Are

We started on Dec 1, 1985 inside "Lurigancho" prison in Lima, Peru as "Foreign Prisoners Fellowship". The ministry continued there upon the subsequent release of Gary Haris and Ron Babb. We later both went on to Brazil, Germany and the UK. Foreign or international inmates remain the focus of our ministry, but we also care for national prisoners. CMI-FPF is volunteer driven and active in several countries.

Our Vision

Evangelism - discipleship - equipping for service.
Being ex-prisoners, we totally believe that the Lord's vision is that inmates are the most effective prison evangelists and that the role of the church is to support this ministry from the outside.
We also believe that the Lord has been raising up an army of "special forces" missionaries in and out of the prisons of the world and that they are called to conquer the strongholds of crime and injustice within societies.

Types Of Activity
