L5:17 is a church prison ministry that seeks to bring disenfranchised inmates and their families into the healing presence and community of Jesus Christ. Our starting point is a bi-weekly Bible study in the heart of Winnipeg at the Remand Centre. We follow up with one-on-one's and use a network of chaplains, ministries (Teen Challenge, Forward House, Bridging the Gap), and churches to guide the inmates to the next healing environment. All those that are incarcerated, especially those that have been abandoned by family and friends. Please also pray for Prison Reform, that Federal Parole will be re-instated, that Mandatory Minimums will be Abolished, that the Death Penalty will be Abolished, and all those that are incarcerated will once again see the light of day and walk in Freedom. My pray request is for him to keep the faith continue believing in Jesus Christ for him to not reside in the same location as before, which got him in prison.
