The Office of Correctional Ministries, Catholic Diocese of Galveston / Houston provides services to 26 Texas prison units, 10 county jails and 1 Federal unit. Much of our time is spent on building a facility to house men or women who have been released from incarceration. We are searching for property in the Houston area on which to build a home for seven men.Ministry help request
Live Christ Ministry
The female offenders who give birth while incarcerated and must be separated from their babies, the terminally ill offenders who will die in prison, without their loved ones. Also that more volunteers will rise up so that offenders will know they can have hope for change with Christ.Prayer Request of the Hour
Add your prayer requestPlease pray for steven who is scheduled to be sent to work release very soon and pray that this happen as his children need him. Pray for strength for those who are wrongly injust behind those prison bars. There are good people behind those bars who serve the lord in the capacity he designs them too. Pray God give them strength. I send steven religious tracts and he freely distributes them to those who seek to know Jesus Christ as their personal saviour.
