Who We Are
Gates of Freedom was born in 2009 after a prison volunteer conference held in Seattle. We saw the need to unite and create a ministry that would help connect the work being conducted by Slavic people across the state. It was decided that we need to incorporate education to prevent the young generation from getting into trouble in the first place. Finally, volunteers expressed the need of a recovery center to help those outside the prison system find freedom and the saving grace of Jesus.
Gates of Freedom (GOF) is a non-profit organization, striving to reach troubled youth and adults with the saving and redeeming message of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We use every means at our disposal to reach those eager to be set free from various forms of addictions at different points in their lives.
Types Of Activity
We reach our community in three ways: Conduct outreach in the prison system across the State of Washington, run a recovery center for those struggling with various types of addictions, and conduct drug-resistance programs.
We minister across the State of Washington, but are in the process of opening a recovery center in another state.
