Who We Are
New Vision Organization is a 501 (C) (4) nonprofit Organization, advocating for incarcerated first-time offenders of any offense who are serving life/LWOP and/or whose Civil Rights are being violated.
Our Vision
Our vision is to assist Life/LWOP individuals in accessing Pro Bono Criminal, Appellate, Post-Conviction and/or Civil Rights' Lawyers, willing to help with their needs. We also work with other Organizations and Groups to work towards Criminal Justice/Prison Reform. In addition to Parole Reform and other imperative changes that need to occur. The U.S. is the only Country in the World having mass incarceration and it needs to change.
Types Of Activity
We do extensive research, letter writing, making phone calls, sending emails, attending Coalition Meetings and corresponding with our incarcerated clients in efforts to demonstrate transparency and to allow for all involved to feel trustful enough to open up about their feelings, downfalls and future hopes.
Location
We work with the incarcerated first-time offenders serving Life/LWOP in any Prison in Massachusetts which houses Lifers/LWOP.
About Our Prison Ministry
We attempt to bring awareness that Prisons Should be Replaced with Long-Term Residential Treatment Facilities to ensure the Mentally ill and Addicted and others, receive appropriate treatment. We have an epidemic in this Country of Addictions, Mental Illnesses among other. Prisons are not effective and is not the answer.
