The Women of Block 12

I mentor women offenders in a weekly faith-based women's group at the county jail. We do Bible studies, creative writing, singing, drumming and arts & crafts.

"And what does the Lord require of you? Do justice, love mercy, and walk humbly with your God." Micah 6:8

Our Vision

My goal is to give a voice to women offenders, to educate the general community about the factors that lead to incarceration of non-violent offenders (both male and female), to support treatment instead of prison for those affected by addiction and mental illness, and to encourage others to mentor these individuals.
