Who We Are

Our Vision
We started with two Volunteer Chaplains, as a ministry of Eastside Southern Baptist Church. All we were at that time was a Jail Ministry only. We then went to one paid Staff Chaplain, with 6 Volunteers, and started ministering to the Inmates Families as well as the Inmates. From there we started ministering to the Victims of Crime. Within 6 months our Chaplain was also serving as Law Enforcement Chaplain for the County Sheriff's Department.all mature Christians.
Types Of Activity
Ministry to the inmates, the Inmate's Families, Law Enforcement Officers, Crime Victim's, and then follow-up Ministry to the inmates & their families after the inmate's release, in their own church.
Location
Arkansas Department Of Correction, North Central Unit, and the Independence, Stone and Sharp County, Arkansas Jails.
Our magazine (newsletter)
We now have 23 Volunteers. Starting May 2, 1999, we will be having our first service at the "New Beginning Community Church" for Ex-Offenders and their Families. The name of the church is what the inmates themselves gave their church. The Staff Chaplain will serve as Pastor of this church until one of the Ex-Offenders feels God's calling to Pastor the church.
Books we have published
Our goal is to lead the inmates to a saving knowledge of Christ, working with their families while the inmates are still locked up, then teaching them together in the Ex-Offender Church, until they areAbout Our Prison Ministry
Our immediate goal is to get the Ex-Offender and Family Church started and growing. This is going to happen very shortly, if it's the Lord's will.
