Who We Are
Christian Care Organisation was formed in 1992 as a distinctively Christian NGO, dedicated to carrying the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ to people in the various prison institutions as well as sustaining christianity amongst those release from Prison.
Christiona Care Organisation is involved in conducting seminars and workshops for churches, Fellowships, Community and Social workers, Groups and others whose activities relate to offenders for Rehabilitation, After-Care and Re-intergration Christiona Care Organisation is also engaged in creating the awareness fo the HIV/AID pandemic amongst prioners in Ghana thereby contributing to the reduction in the spread of HIV/AIDS in Ghana. And also to help improve capacity to deal with HIV/AIDS in Ghana's prisons.
Our Vision
Our vision is to develop rehabilitation and after-care facility as a resource of the church and community.
This we hope will allow an ex-prisoner to be able to re-adjust to society in a caring and supportive environment. Here he can recuperate, take stock of his life and set future plan and goals.
Types Of Activity
1) Seminar and Workshop on HIV/AIDS and STDS awareness for those who minister amongst prison inmates.
2) Visit people in prison on remand or in juvenile custody.
3) Establish and maintain communication between those in prison and their families.
4) Offer counsellin and support to inmates and ex-prisoners identified with HIV/AIDS.
