Who We Are
"Ministerio El Calvario" is a prison ministry serving several prisons in Florida helping spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ to all those who would listen. We serve the incarcerated Hispanic community and their families so they can become succsessful Christian citizens.
Our Vision
Our vision is to be able to help all those in need of salvation, but our main goal is to lead the hispanic inmates to Christ, specially those that because of the lack of biblical education keep falling into the same vicious circle of crime and destruction.
Types Of Activity
We bring family oriented seminars to the prisons, "The Christ Centered Family" This seminars help the inmates to become better fathers and husbands under the light of the word of God. We have evangelistic services, baptisms and a basic discipleship class for the new converts.
Location
We minister in eight different prisons in the state: Charlotte CI, Punta Gorda; DeSoto CI, Arcadia and Work Camp; Hardee CI, Bowling Green and Work Camp; Braward CI; South Bay CF, South Bay; and Tomoka CI, Deltona.
