Sojourner Orthodox Fellowship

Sojourner Orthodox Fellowship prison ministry is a non-geographical fellowship ministry. We have prisoners all across the U.S. The main goal of our ministry is spiritual encouragement and showing those living in spiritual darkness how to have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. We teach prisoners how to turn their prison cell into a prayer cell. We minister to those who are Orthodox, seeking the Orthodox faith and those of no denomination who are looking for a deeper spiritual life.

Who We Are

Sojourner Orthodox Fellowship prison ministry is a non-geographical fellowship ministry. We minister to inmates all across the U.S. The main goal of our ministry is spiritual encouragement and showing those living in spiritual darkness how to have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. We teach inmates to develop a prayer life. We send inmates spiritual reading material, pastoral sermons, free bibles, pray cards, icons and prayer ropes.

Our Vision

Our vision is to be an evangelical prison ministry that will identify as a Christian support ministry of healing, reconciliation and family restoration. Our goal is to match each inmate with a Christian mentor, who will help develop the inmates faith through correspondence.

Types Of Activity

Providing incarcerated individuals spiritual encouragement, instruction and guidance. Establish networks and assist local congregations in working with soon-to-be released individuals in providing hands-on support and a place of welcoming worship. we work with secular and non-secular community organizations to provide material aftercare to those returning to the community. We are a member sponsor of our local Angel Tree program.

Location

We minister to inmates throughout the U.S. by correspondence.

About Our Prison Ministry

Father Nicholas former ex-convict, recovering addict and an Ordained Minister. He shares his compelling personal testimony of how he defeated harmful dependencies and passions through love for God and through strengthening his soul with faith and prayer, and how God's grace can work all things together for good. He shares his humble journey from abandonment to love, hopelessness to faith and incarceration to freedom.....and along the way, finding God.
